DJ Sigvaldason was born in 1984 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and holds deep Icelandic roots. From a young age, he was deeply enamored with music, which paved the way for his future career. By age 15, he was experimenting as an amateur DJ and quickly transitioned to professional status, captivating audiences both in Scandinavia and internationally.

His professional journey began in earnest in 2008 as an event DJ. By the summer of 2009, he was the resident DJ at Kulturkajen Docken, spinning Chill Out and Lounge tracks every weekend. Since then, he’s secured gigs across major Danish venues and beyond, averaging 100 performances a year including radio and club engagements.

Sigvaldason is not only a fixture in the DJ booth but also behind the scenes, creating mixes for global radio audiences and hosting the weekly show ‘Trance to the People,’ which streams internationally. He’s also ventured into music production, with his tracks available on major streaming platforms.

Besides his DJing, Sigvaldason thrives as an independent event organizer, playing a pivotal role in the launch of venues like Njalsgade 21 and Club Nuclear. He founded TranceCph, Copenhagen’s premier trance music collective, organizing high-caliber trance music events and parties.
